When laying out a standing seam metal roof install, sometimes a penetration (such as a plumbing vent) unavoidably falls on a panel rib. EPDM pipe boots are not designed to be installed directly over top a vertical seam, so a more complete detail must be used. In this video, Jason from the Sheffield Metals Technical department demonstrates how to install the Sheffield Metals P2 large penetration detail from start-to-finish.
