Attend a Sheffield Metals Metal Mastery Clinic
One of the best ways to get value from METALCON is to take advantage of its hands-on educational opportunities.
Sheffield Metals will host two Metal Mastery Clinics during the show:
Wednesday, October 7 | 1–2 p.m.
Thursday, October 8 | 11 a.m.–12 p.m.
The clinic provides a hands-on demonstration of several common standing seam panel tie-in techniques, with an emphasis on how multiple installation details connect in the field.
Attendees will see best-practice approaches for:
- Double-hip to ridge tie-ins
- Ridge-to-vented-ridge transitions
- Two methods for end-capping hip and ridge conditions
The goal is not only to demonstrate how these details are completed but also to identify potential challenges and failure points contractors may encounter during installation.
Attendees are encouraged to ask questions about the demonstrated techniques as well as other installation and metal roofing topics.
The clinics will be presented by David Stubbs, Jason Ayres, and Andy Lesmeister of Sheffield Metals.
Whether you’re an experienced installer or looking to expand your knowledge of standing seam metal roofing, the clinics offer an opportunity to learn directly from industry professionals and take practical installation knowledge back to the jobsite.
